How Do I Set Up A Wait List?

The Waitlist feature allows customers to sign up to be notified if a booked activity/tour becomes available, or if new time slots are added.

Wait List Setup

Wait List is enabled at the product level. To enable the wait list feature for an activity go to Products in the top navigation.

Select an activity and go to the Options tab where you will find a "Waitlist" section.

Click on the checkbox next to "Enable wait list functionality for this activity" to activate the feature. Save your changes before leaving the page.

Wait List Sign Up

Once you have enabled the wait list feature, customers will have the option to join the the Waitlist directly from the checkout flow if the availability they want to book for is not open.


The link will open a form allowing the customer to join the wait list for the preferred day, and a specified time range (optional).


The customer will receive an email indicating that they have successfully joined the Wait List. The business will also be copied on this email, so you will know when a customer is put on the Wait List.

View/Modify Wait List

You are able to view and edit wait list requests though your Dashboard.

NOTE: The wait list section will only show up if you have Wait List requests.

You are able to edit wait list requests by clicking on the Wait List entry. You are also able to create new Wait List requests by clicking the orange Add to Wait List button. This will open up a screen to add a customer to the Wait List.

Wait List Processing

Active wait list requests are reviewed by the system each hour.  If the system finds a time/date available that matches the request, then an email will be sent to the customer alerting them of the availability with a link to make the reservation from your website. The customers' option to fill the availability is first-come first-serve.
