How do I block time between rentals?

The block time feature allows you to set aside time before or after an hourly rental so it cannot be booked by customers.  This typically used when equipment needs cleaning, inspection, or preparation between rentals such as:

  • Refueling and inspecting scooter rentals
  • Driving canoes (or rafts) back up stream for the next person to use on a river float
  • Cleaning and restocking supplies for pontoon boat rental

Block time is only available for hourly rentals and not daily or nightly rentals. 

To set or adjust block time, go to the Option Page for a rental product. 

Set the before or after time period when the equipment cannot be rented. 

On the Day View for the Calendar, the block time will appear based on your settings.
