How do I take a phone or walk-in booking?

Go to the DASHBOARD and click on the NEW BOOKING + button to add a new reservation.

This will take you to the first third of the page, titled BOOKING ITEMS. Enter in the fields for Activity, Date, Time and answers to your Customer Questions, as well as the number of people who are on that reservation.

Activity: Choose which activity this reservation is for by clicking on the correct activity from the drop-down menu.

Date: Pick the correct date from the interactive date-picker and calendar. The dark blue squares indicate availability on that date, and once you click the date you'd like, it turns lime green.

 

Time: The drop-down menu will automatically populate depending on which date you choose. It will also let you know how many spots are available for that time slot.

 

Adults: Click on the - or + button in order to choose how many people are in your reservation. You can also type in the box with the correct number of people. The Subtotal field will automatically update depending on how many people are indicated.

 

Custom Questions: If you have any custom questions created on the Activity level, you can gather the answers from your customer and record it in the fields beneath each question.

If you would like to add another item or reservation to this transaction, click on + Add Item. If you would like to apply a promo/coupon or a voucher code to this transaction, enter in the codes (comma separated) in the appropriate field and click Apply.

Now click on CUSTOMER INFO in the top right-hand corner of the page or simply scroll down. Fill in the appropriate customer information. You will need to enter in the customer's First Name, Last Name, Email, Country, Phone Number, and Postal Code in order to process the transaction. Now click on PAYMENTS in the top right-hand corner of the page or simply scroll down. Choose which type of payment the customer is using (None, Credit Card, Cash, Check), and fill out the appropriate payment information in order to process the payment. If the customer is paying by credit card, you will need to fill out the customer's credit card Number, the Expiration date, as well as the CVV for that card. If the credit card is under the same name and address as the customer in the CUSTOMER INFO section, you can leave the Same address as customer box checked. If it is a different credit card, make sure to un-check that box and fill in the appropriate fields. If the customer is paying by cash or check, you have the option of adding a comment for your own reference. Once all of the required fields are filled out (required fields are indicated by the *), the CONFIRM & PROCESS PAYMENT button will turn orange, and you can click on it to process the payment.

Once you have clicked that button, you are done! The customer will receive an automatic confirmation email, and you will see a green bar across the top half of your screen that says Booking successfully created.
